Ingredients

  • 2 medium Bananas ripe, frozen and sliced
  • 1 cup Almond Milk unsweetened, or milk of choice
  • 1/2 cup Pineapple Chunks frozen
  • 1/2 cup Strawberries frozen
  • 1/2 cup Greek Yogurt plain or vanilla
  • 1 tbsp Honey or Maple Syrup adjust to taste
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract pure
  • Whipped Cream for topping, optional
  • Chocolate Syrup for drizzling, optional
  • 2 Maraschino Cherries for topping, optional

Equipment

  • Blender
  • Measuring Cups
  • Measuring Spoons
  • Serving Glasses

Method

  1. Combine the frozen banana slices, almond milk, frozen pineapple chunks, frozen strawberries, Greek yogurt, honey (or maple syrup), and vanilla extract into a high-speed blender.
  2. Secure the lid and blend on high until the mixture is completely smooth and creamy. If the smoothie is too thick, add an additional 1-2 tablespoons of milk at a time until your desired consistency is achieved. Be careful not to over-blend.
  3. Pour the Banana Boat Smoothie evenly into two chilled serving glasses.
  4. For the full 'banana boat' experience, optionally garnish each smoothie with a generous dollop of whipped cream, a drizzle of chocolate syrup, and a maraschino cherry on top.
  5. Serve immediately and enjoy this delightful and refreshing treat.

Notes

Feel free to adjust the sweetness to your preference. For an extra protein boost, add a scoop of your favorite vanilla or unflavored protein powder. Any type of milk can be used, including dairy or other plant-based options like oat milk or soy milk.
