Ingredients

  • 1 cup frozen mango chunks
  • 1/2 cup frozen blueberries
  • 1 medium banana ripe, peeled
  • 3/4 cup almond milk unsweetened (or other milk of choice)
  • 1/4 cup Greek yogurt plain, optional, for creaminess and protein boost
  • 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup optional, to taste
  • 1 tsp chia seeds optional, for fiber and omega-3s

Equipment

  • Blender
  • Measuring Cups
  • Measuring Spoons

Method

  1. Combine all ingredients: Add the frozen mango chunks, frozen blueberries, ripe banana, almond milk, and any optional ingredients (Greek yogurt, honey/maple syrup, chia seeds) to a high-speed blender.
  2. Blend until smooth: Secure the lid and blend on high speed until the mixture is completely smooth and creamy. If the smoothie is too thick to blend, add more almond milk, one tablespoon at a time, until the desired consistency is achieved.
  3. Adjust sweetness (optional): Taste the smoothie and, if desired, add more honey or maple syrup for extra sweetness. Blend briefly again to incorporate.
  4. Serve immediately: Pour the finished Blueberry Mango Smoothie into two glasses and serve chilled.

Notes

For an extra chill, you can add a few ice cubes, though using frozen fruit usually makes it cold enough. If you prefer a thinner consistency, add a little more milk. For a thicker, more 'bowl-like' smoothie, reduce the milk slightly. You can also add a scoop of protein powder for an extra boost.
