Ingredients
  

Cookie Dough

  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar packed
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs room temperature
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips semi-sweet

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch pie dish or line it with parchment paper.
  • In a mixing bowl, cream together butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Add eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually mix into the wet ingredients.
  • Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  • Press the cookie dough evenly into the prepared pie dish.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the center is set but slightly soft.
  • Allow to cool for 10 minutes before slicing. Serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream.

Notes

For a gooier center, bake for less time. Customize with nuts, caramel, or peanut butter chips!
