Combine Ingredients
- Add the almond milk, frozen cherries, banana (if using), almond butter, and vanilla extract to a high-speed blender.
- If desired, add maple syrup or honey for extra sweetness, and/or protein powder for a boost.
Blend Until Smooth
- Secure the lid and blend on high speed until all ingredients are thoroughly combined and the smoothie is completely smooth and creamy. If too thick, add a splash more almond milk; if too thin, add a few ice cubes or a little more frozen banana.
Serve Immediately
- Pour the almond cherry smoothie into a glass and serve immediately. Enjoy your refreshing and nutritious drink!
Notes
For an even thicker smoothie, you can add 1/4 cup of rolled oats or chia seeds before blending. If you don't have frozen banana, use a fresh one and add 1/2 cup of ice to achieve a cold, thick consistency. For a richer flavor, you can lightly toast the almond butter before adding it to the blender.
