Ingredients

For the Yogurt Bites Base
  • 2 cups Plain Greek Yogurt full-fat recommended for creaminess
  • 1/4 cup Honey or maple syrup, adjust to taste
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
For the Toppings (Optional)
  • 1/2 cup Mixed Berries fresh or frozen, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup Granola for sprinkling

Equipment

  • Mini Muffin Tin
  • Mini Muffin Liners
  • Mixing Bowl
  • Spoon or Spatula

Method

Prepare the Base
  1. Line a mini muffin tin with 24 mini muffin liners. This will make it easy to remove the frozen bites.
  2. In a medium mixing bowl, combine the plain Greek yogurt, honey, and vanilla extract. Stir well until all ingredients are thoroughly mixed and the honey is evenly distributed.
  3. Spoon the yogurt mixture evenly into the prepared mini muffin liners. Each liner should be about two-thirds full.
Add Toppings & Freeze
  1. Sprinkle the finely chopped mixed berries and granola over the top of each yogurt bite. Gently press them down slightly so they adhere to the yogurt.
  2. Place the mini muffin tin into the freezer. Freeze for at least 2-3 hours, or until the yogurt bites are completely solid.
  3. Once frozen, carefully remove the bites from the muffin tin. You can peel off the liners before serving, or leave them on for easy handling.

Notes

Store leftover Frozen Honey Yogurt Bites in an airtight container or freezer bag in the freezer for up to 2-3 weeks. For variations, try adding mini chocolate chips, shredded coconut, or different fruit combinations. You can also drizzle with a little extra honey or melted chocolate before serving.
