Ingredients

For the Smoothie
  • 1.5 cups Frozen mango chunks peeled and chopped for best results
  • 1/2 cup Milk any type (dairy or non-dairy)
  • 1/4 cup Greek Yogurt plain, full-fat or low-fat (optional, for extra creaminess and protein)
  • 1 tbsp Lime Juice freshly squeezed (enhances mango flavor and adds brightness)
  • 1-2 tsp Honey or Maple Syrup or to taste (optional, adjust sweetness level)
  • 1/2 cup Ice Cubes optional, if a thicker, colder smoothie is desired or mango isn't fully frozen

Equipment

  • High-Speed Blender

Method

Preparation
  1. Gather all your ingredients. Ensure your mango is frozen; if using fresh mango, peel, chop, and freeze it for at least 4 hours (or overnight) for the ideal thick and cold smoothie texture.
Blend the Smoothie
  1. Add the frozen mango chunks, milk, Greek yogurt (if using), freshly squeezed lime juice, and your chosen sweetener (if using) to your high-speed blender.
  2. Secure the lid and blend on high speed until the mixture is completely smooth and creamy, without any chunks of mango remaining. This typically takes 1-2 minutes.
  3. If the smoothie is too thick to blend or to your liking, add an extra splash of milk (1-2 tablespoons at a time) and blend again until the desired consistency is achieved. If you prefer it even colder or thicker, add the optional ice cubes and blend until smooth.
Serve and Enjoy
  1. Pour the luscious mango smoothie into two serving glasses. Serve immediately and savor the tropical bliss!

Notes

For a thicker smoothie, reduce the milk or add more frozen mango/ice. For a thinner smoothie, add more milk. You can also add a pinch of turmeric for extra color and health benefits, or a small piece of fresh ginger for a zesty kick. Store any leftover smoothie in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours, though it's best enjoyed fresh.
