Ingredients

Fruit
  • 1.5 cups frozen mango chunks no need to thaw
  • 1 cup frozen peach slices no need to thaw
Liquid & Creaminess
  • 0.75 cup orange juice freshly squeezed or good quality refrigerated
  • 0.5 cup Greek yogurt plain or vanilla
  • 0.5 cup unsweetened almond milk or any milk you prefer
Flavor & Sweetness
  • 1 tbsp honey optional, to taste
  • 0.5 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp fresh lime juice brightens the flavor

Equipment

  • Blender
  • Measuring Cups

Method

Blend
  1. Add orange juice, almond milk, and Greek yogurt to the blender first. This helps the blades catch the frozen fruit more easily.
  2. Top with frozen mango, frozen peaches, honey if using, vanilla extract, and lime juice.
  3. Start on low speed to break up the frozen fruit, then increase to high. Blend for 45 to 60 seconds until completely smooth and creamy, stopping once to scrape down the sides if needed. The smoothie should be thick but pourable.
  4. If too thick, add more almond milk 1 tablespoon at a time. If too thin, add a few more frozen mango chunks and blend briefly.
  5. Pour into two glasses and serve right away while cold and frosty.

Notes

For the creamiest texture, use frozen fruit rather than fresh plus ice, which waters down the flavor. No frozen peaches? Use 1 cup fresh peach plus 1/2 cup ice, though the flavor will be slightly less intense. Make it a meal by adding 1 scoop vanilla protein powder and an extra 1/4 cup liquid.
