- Add all ingredients – frozen pineapple chunks, frozen banana, unsweetened almond milk, fresh ginger (if using), ground turmeric, optional honey/maple syrup, and optional chia seeds – into a high-speed blender.
- Blend on high speed until completely smooth and creamy. If the smoothie is too thick, add an additional splash of almond milk until desired consistency is reached.
- Pour into a glass and serve immediately. Garnish with a small pineapple wedge or a sprinkle of turmeric if desired.
Notes
For a thicker smoothie, reduce the almond milk slightly. If you don't have frozen fruit, use fresh fruit and add 1/2 cup of ice. Fresh turmeric and ginger will give a stronger, more vibrant flavor than ground spices. You can also add a scoop of your favorite protein powder for an extra boost.
