Method
- Combine all ingredients (frozen mango, frozen pineapple, almond milk, Greek yogurt (if using), lime juice, honey (if using), and a few ice cubes (if needed)) into a high-speed blender.
- Blend on high speed for 30-60 seconds, or until the mixture is completely smooth and creamy. Scrape down the sides of the blender with a spatula if necessary to ensure all ingredients are incorporated.
- If the smoothie is too thick, add more almond milk (1-2 tablespoons at a time) and blend again until your desired consistency is reached. For a thinner consistency, add a little more liquid; for a thicker smoothie, add a few more frozen fruit chunks or ice.
- Pour the smoothie into two serving glasses and serve immediately. For an extra touch, garnish with a fresh mint sprig, a slice of mango, or a pineapple wedge.
Notes
For a protein boost, add a scoop of your favorite vanilla or unflavored protein powder. If you prefer a colder smoothie without diluting the flavor, freeze the almond milk in ice cube trays beforehand. You can also add a small handful of spinach for added nutrients without significantly altering the taste.
