- Add all ingredients (frozen strawberries, frozen banana, milk, optional Greek yogurt, optional honey/maple syrup, optional vanilla extract, and optional ice cubes) into your blender.
- Secure the lid on the blender and blend on high speed until the mixture is completely smooth and creamy. Use a tamper if your blender has one to help incorporate thicker ingredients.
- Check the consistency. If the smoothie is too thick, add more milk, 1 tablespoon at a time, and blend again until your desired pourable consistency is reached.
- Pour the freshly blended strawberry banana smoothie into two glasses and serve immediately for the best taste and texture.
Notes
For a thicker smoothie, ensure all your fruit is frozen solid and use the minimum amount of liquid. For a thinner consistency, simply add more milk. Feel free to adjust the sweetness level to your preference with more or less honey/maple syrup. A scoop of your favorite protein powder can be added for an extra nutritional boost, especially if enjoyed post-workout. This strawberry banana smoothie is best consumed fresh.
