- Add the frozen blueberries, frozen strawberries, unsweetened almond milk, Greek yogurt (if using), honey or maple syrup (if using), and vanilla extract (if using) into a high-speed blender.
- Secure the lid and blend on high speed until the mixture is completely smooth and creamy. If the smoothie is too thick, add a little more almond milk, one tablespoon at a time, until desired consistency is reached.
- Pour the vibrant berry smoothie into two glasses and serve immediately. Garnish with a fresh berry or a mint sprig if desired.
Notes
For a thicker smoothie, reduce the almond milk slightly or add a few ice cubes if using fresh fruit. For an extra boost of nutrition, add a tablespoon of chia seeds or ground flaxseeds before blending. This smoothie is best enjoyed fresh, but can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.
