  • 1 cup frozen cranberries
  • 1 medium banana peeled and frozen for best texture
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt full-fat or low-fat, unsweetened
  • 1/2 cup orange juice or water for a less sweet option
  • 1-2 tsp honey or maple syrup optional, adjust to taste
  • 1/4 tsp ground ginger optional, for a spicy kick
  • 1/4 cup fresh spinach optional, for added nutrients (flavor will be masked)

  1. Ensure your banana is peeled and frozen prior to starting for the best smoothie consistency. Gather all other ingredients.
  2. Add the frozen cranberries, frozen banana, Greek yogurt, orange juice (or water), honey or maple syrup (if using), ground ginger (if using), and fresh spinach (if using) to a high-speed blender.
  3. Secure the lid and blend on high speed until all ingredients are completely smooth and creamy. If the smoothie is too thick, add a splash more orange juice or water until desired consistency is reached. If it's too thin, add a few more frozen cranberries or a small handful of ice.
  4. Taste the smoothie and adjust sweetness if necessary. Pour immediately into a glass and enjoy your vibrant cranberry power smoothie!

Notes

For a thicker, colder smoothie, ensure your banana is well-frozen. You can also add a few ice cubes if your cranberries aren't fully frozen. Feel free to customize with other add-ins like chia seeds for extra fiber, protein powder for a post-workout boost, or a handful of mixed berries for more fruit flavor. This smoothie is best consumed fresh.
